All services are delivered in line with current Government guidelines relating to the Coronavirus pandemic. After 12th April 2021 this will mean working on a 1:5 ratio, maintaining social distance and observing safe working / hygiene practices. (The navigation workshop is a 1:4 ratio due to classroom size once indoor training is permitted)

Jamie offers a bespoke guiding service for walkers and runners in the Derbyshire Countryside. Throughout the summer season there will also be set dates where people can sign up to participate individually.

Events (First Light Ultras – Get the FLU Bug!)

Spire Ultra – now in its fifth year. This is a popular trail event taking a 34 mile clockwise route in the countryside around Chesterfield.

Making its debut on 19.6.21, this is an event for people who don’t like to navigate but want an adventure! A 4 mile loop takes you on a challenging, but merry, jaunt through the environs to the North of High Ashes. How many loops can you complete in 6 hours?

Amberaid 30 – after an excellent inaugural event in 2020, the Amberaid 30 returns for a second showing on 23.10.21. It really is an excellent route and runs slightly later in the year to best capture the autumn colours.

HARP Mud Run – fund raising event for High Ashes Rural Project. This year’s run is on April 18th 2021.

Higham Hill Race -fund raising event and this year supporting the Lee Bonsall Memorial Fund. 2020’s race was a casualty of COVID-19. Look out for 2021’s date.

Supporting other events or expeditions across the UK including 3 Peaks, Y3P, Edale Skyline, Peak District Challenge, Beacons Challenge. Walking, running or fast-packing -all catered for.
